Political beat up

There are going to be people who will hate the website and it's intent believing that it was created by Nat lovers or trolls wanting to cause a political beat up on Jacinda Ardern and Labour.

So I want to put it out there myself. I have not EVER voted for National and up until the last election I have always voted Labour.

In 2017, I voted for Labour based on their huge promises to be transparent and transformation. I voted for Labour based on their promises to build thousands and thousands of homes for Kiwi's. I voted for them because I hated National Standards. I voted for them because they promised to fix the health system.

Following the Prime Minister's 2018 Waitangi day speech, I was full of optimism as the Prime Minister asked to be held to account that they were going to start fulfilling those promises.

What has transpired since then has been a whole lot of broken promises by the Prime Minister and Labour.

Based on those broken promises since 2017 there was no way, I could vote for them again in 2020, right?

You're right, I couldn't. So I voted for the only party who always stay true to their party values and never goes off course from that.....the legalize cannabis party.

The website wasn't set up as a political football. It was set up to:

  • Help inform KO tenants of their rights and what they can do about it and give them a safe space to share THEIR stories.

  • Get accountability from the Prime Minister and government who asked to be held to account.
